DIY Pumpkin Pie Kid's Craft
Pumpkin Pie: Kid's Edition |
Hey, hey friends!
This is by FAR, one of the easiest and cheapest crafts we've done! Not too mention, very fun to do, and I let my kiddos and their imaginations takeover as they got crafty with these!
You will only need 5 items for this craft! You may already have these items handy, but I will link them below just in case!
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
1. Paper Plates - 1 Per Child (The uncoated paper plates are ideal for painting)
2. Paint - We chose Harvest Orange for pumpkin pie, but you can do other colors for different types of pies as well!
3. Cotton Balls - Whipped Cream
4. Burlap - Pie Crust
5. Glue
(All supplies from Walmart - under $10 - available to add to your shopping list for pick-up!)
STEP 1:
Paint the plates the color/pie of your choice, let dry.
STEP 2:
Glue the Whipped Cream (Cotton Balls), on the plate however you prefer.
STEP 3:
Depending on the width of the Burlap, you may need to cut to size for the pie crust. We had 2 inch Burlap, so I cut strips of 1 inch Burlap then started accordion folding, as shown below. I did 2-3 sections that way the curve around the plate "pie" was easier to manage. Glue each section once accordion folded.
STEP 4:
Set aside to dry!
That's it! VERY simple, and my kiddos loved creating these! If you create your own, please share/tag me on Insta so I can show some love and re-share!
